We now have a dedicated social network for sustainability and relocalization, called Transition Rhode Island. This site is directly affiliated and connected with Transition United States. The site offers members, at no cost, their own blog, the ability to upload photos, videos, etc. Like Facebook, but with a focus on Transition, peak oil, climate, all things green.
